Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

AdvanSeq is a product of KickMyStart Corp ("we", "us", "our"). We provide a multi-dimensional sequencing API that helps developers and teams prioritize, rank, and sequence items across weighted dimensions.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and optional name. This is used to create your account and send you your API key.

Usage data: We track API call counts, job history, and sequencing patterns to enforce plan limits and improve the service. We do not inspect the content of your items beyond what is needed to process your sequencing requests.

Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.

Discovery sessions: If you use our AI Discovery feature, we store conversation transcripts and dimension mappings to improve the discovery experience. Contact information submitted through the discovery flow is used for sales follow-up.

Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous page view and performance data. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and maintain the AdvanSeq API service
• Send you your API key and account-related emails
• Enforce plan limits and rate limiting
• Process payments through Stripe
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your sequencing data to train AI models.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Job history is retained for 90 days on the free plan and indefinitely on paid plans. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

5. Data Security

API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes — we never store plaintext keys after initial generation. All API traffic is encrypted via TLS. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

6. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics
• Replit — API server hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your job history in CSV or JSON format

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
